Sarah Goff ~ Bio

I have always had a passion for food. From an early age, I loved family gatherings because of the diversity of food that would come through the door and be presented beautifully on our table. People would gather, converse, laugh, cry and sometimes laugh until they cried. Food was always at the center of every gathering, no matter what the circumstances.

Culinary School

Upon graduation from culinary school in 2001, I embarked on my career as a line cook in some of the notable restaurants of The Valley. A few years into restaurant work an amazing opportunity came up for me. Moving onto my families 30 acre parcel of wine grapes allowed me to explore the world of farming and urban gardening as well. Since most of the land was planted in wine grapes, we had a small space for vegetables.

Our Own Urban Farm

My husband, daughter and I moved onto our own .33 acre parcel which we have since turned into our our urban farm. We raise vegetables, fruit trees, cane fruit, herbs, chickens and honey bees.

Credentialed Culinary Instructor

I completed a California teachers credential and taught culinary and hospitality at the local high schools for another 8 years and then decided I wanted to work with people that really wanted to learn the wealth of knowledge I had now accumulated.

Health Coaching

I first began to take a look at myself and my family history of heart disease and diabetes. I knew I had some bad habits that needed changing. I knew what to do, but why wasn't I doing the “right” thing? I found Health Coaching. I enrolled in a program that focused the learning on changing the habits. This was may calling. This felt like a good fit. This felt like the perfect place to bring all my knowledge and share it with the world.

Avid Yogi

Since starting my health coaching practice, I have also become an avid Yogi, practicing 5 days a week and loving the mind/ body/ spirit connection the practice brings with it.

I hope you will join me for a session or two:

Health Coaching, Yoga or Healthy Cooking!
